The vacant lot a couple plots down from CUPS Coffeehouse was the perfect venue for a movie night. Thanks to CUPS … Continue reading West Baltimore Squares ‘Film Friday’ series a success!

After having to push our West Baltimore Squares Spring Celebration Kick-off Parade and first FILM FRIDAY” back a week due to rain, April decided to stay true to “April showers” and we ultimately had to move the first Film Friday inside. Luckily, our friends over at the Franklin Square Boys and Girls Club agreed to host us in their gym. The Boys and Girls Club after-school club, the Torch Club, which focuses on social justice issues, assisted us in carrying the outdoor movie equipment up the stairs to the gym. While the rain pounded outside and lightening light up the … Continue reading First “Film Friday” was a success, despite the rain!
